The Dr. Larry Lawson Surgical Services Department is located on the first floor at the east end of the Medical Center. The Surgery/PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)/Anesthesia Department consists of state-of-the-art operating and patient recovery rooms.

A highly competent surgery and anesthesia staff are readily available to provide you with the highest quality care, 24 hours a day, 7 days week. The Anesthesia Department is lead by Dr. Frank Schefano III, MD, board-certified Anesthesiologist. Dr. Schefano oversees a staff of four CRNA's (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists). The OR/PACU Unit Coordinator is Suzanne Carlton, RN. Ms. Carlton manages a full-time staff consisting of RNs, LPNs, and OR Techs. Our Anesthesia and Nursing staff are BLS, PALS, and ACLS certified.
