It's rare that you find a counselor that actually cares about your child almost as much as you do. My son has been seeing Mrs. Gilmer for over 3 years now, once a week at school. During the first year of counseling, my son needed to be tested for ADHD along with a couple of other possible conditions. Mrs. Gilmer referred me to a psychologist and when my son's insurance wouldn't pay for it, she talked to the psychologist about providing my son services pro bono and he agreed! On a separate occasion, my son was in between insurance companies and wouldn't be covered for a full month but Mrs. Gilmer, without hesitation, said she would still see my son at his school every week without pay. My son really enjoys seeing her and she knew he would be upset about not seeing her for a whole month. I highly recommend her!
