Disappointed - this place looked like it was going to deliver on food, service and experience but I was let down on the food. The chef is from the low country in South Carolina and thus you see a low country influenced menu. The waiter highly recommended the fried chicken and I elected to take him up on his recommendation. While the garlic mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, the fried chicken was basically tasteless. The breading was fairly thick and added nothing to the meal. The chicken was good but the point of friend chicken is the outer coating. I won't be recommending this place to others.

Want To Impress A First Date?

This is a 1st class act. The food has the most exquisite taste. Its almost as if the chef knows what combination of flavors will make your taste buds explode. OMG I would have never thought I would find myself saying that I love fried leeks with sweet potatoes. Who would ever think that even fried leeks can taste good. Great place for a first date because if it it works out you won't mind returning year after year to celebrate your anniversary here. And they even have a low calorie menu for those of you watching your weight. I can almost guarantee that you will not be dissapointed. A bit on the pricey side but personally I would say worth every penny. To be very honest I have traveled many countries and ate at some of the finest restaurants in the world and nothing I mean nothing has topped this restaurant. So surprised to see that noone has ever rated it. I'm sure they just don't want to share this very sacred place. The chefs hands are blessed.
