Provided by YP.comI was invited and had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful resort this last summer. I've been a local to Park Rapids Minnesota my entire life and can't believe I didn't have the chance to see this gorgeous place before this! The cabins are very new and the views of long lake are absolutely breathtaking. The owner (James Jordahl) was accommodating and provided me with everything I needed for a truly wonderful stay.

Provided by YP.comThe cabin was nice, but for what we paid, it wasnt worth it, or the attitude that the owners had! The 2nd day we were there I had to call the owner because our toilet was broken and someone came and took the grill from our back porch. It wasn't a big deal except each cabin is supposed to have a grill and we were grilling that night. So when I called Tom, he told me he said "I thought you were grilling tomorrow night" I'm sorry but I didn't know he read minds or thought he knew what he was talking about, and then when he had come to fix the toilet, I had tried to plunge it a few mins before he came so I put the plunger in the waste basket, and when he went to plunge the toilet he pulled a lil ziplock baggy from the waste basket as it must have stuck to the plunger and it fell inot the toilet as he tried to plunge it and he gave me this attitude "why is there a bag in the toilet" he was a jerk! Then on the website it also stated every cabin gets a dock, well we had 2 jetski's we had to pull up onto the "beach" and tie them up. Then I found out they double booked the cabin which was not my fault as it wasn't my book keeping error so I shouldn't have received the attitude, they also weren't very good about making sure what dates we were coming, or keeping track of how much money I paid them. I booked my cabin 6 months before and the owner tried to say I only paid 500 when I paid 1000.00. Overall it was a lovely place, but too expensive, and too much drama for a VACATION! Wil not go back..

Snowmobilers come up and rent Edgewood’s largest cabins for a gathering place to stop after a long days ride and get a great night’s rest. Walker is a great distance to enjoy by snowmobile and, if you come at the right time, you can head that way to enjoy the epic Eelpout Festival on Leach Lake. And, of course, there is always the ice fishing!
