Established in 1914, Park Ridge Park District provides a variety of park, recreation and leisure opportunities for its residents. It offers a wide range of programs for children, as well as adults, such as aquatics, fitness, summer camps, cooking, nature/animals, music lessons, in addition to adult and senior activities. The district operates over 20 parks, holding gymnastics, tennis, hockey, figure skating and various family campfires and events for its residents. Park Ridge Park District also offers indoor/outdoor party facilities for birthdays, anniversaries, festivals and many other occasions. The institution is affiliated to the Park Ridge Speed Skating Club, Park Ridge Women s Tennis Association, Park Ridge Garden Club, River Racers Swim Team and numerous other organizations.
