Chaparral High School is a secondary school offering educational instruction to students from grades nine through 12. Its curriculum comprises math, science, English, social studies, practical arts, physical education, visual arts, computer science and performing arts. The school has athletic teams for different sports, such as volleyball, football, tennis, cross country, cheerleading, soccer, softball, golf, lacrosse, gymnastics, swimming, wrestling, rugby, ice hockey, and track and field. It also provides various extracurricular activities, including band, choir, speech and debate, student government and yearbook. It enrolls more than 1,500 students and is a part of Douglas County Re 1 district. Chaparral High School is located in Parker, Colo.
