Literally no one else is actually buying guns in Douglas County except for this store. Awesome selection of collectibles too

I came in with my coworker to do a private party transfer. This place is awesome, they were writing a blog post about some really cool blunderbuss that was over 200 years old while we were there, so we got to see it up close and ask questions. They buy and sell a ton of antique and collectible items and some of the things they have are downright amazing. Our transfer was done in about 5 minutes but we stayed around just to check out all the neat grenades and uniforms.

I am from Arizona, and buying a hunting rifle for my son from these guys was a great experience. It can be so confusing doing all the license transfer jazz, but after finding the gun I wanted online for a great price from Pony Express, I called them up and they handled everything. I just had to pick it up from a local store here in AZ.

My girlfriend had her heart set on a Glock 42 after trying out my brother's last weekend. We looked at several places, most of which did not even have one in stock. Pony Express not only had one in stock, it was literally $60 cheaper than every other place we looked. They were polite and attentive to us, even though the 2 employees there were busy packing up items to ship out and the phone was ringing every 2 minutes. Background check took just a few minutes and they showed us how to take everything apart and clean it.

I LOVE this place. I go here to purchase all of my new guns, I have sold them several of my old ones that I don't shoot anymore, I buy my magazines here, I buy my ammo here. They have a huge online presence which is great because neat stuff is constantly coming and going. My son loves seeing the collectibles, particularly the artillery shells and the uniforms on the mannequins.

I came in here just to browse with my girlfriend and ended leaving with a Glock 19. I was shokced to see they had them in stock and then on top of it it was 50 less than everywhere else Ive looked. I just turned 21 a couple of months ago so Ive wanted a Glok 19 for a while. It took my girlfriend and I abbout 30 seconds to decide to buy it right then and there. They were busy since it was a saturday but they chatted with us aout the superbowl and such while we waited for paperwork to come back approved. Very friendly and nice, they seem to have more long guns then handguns, but great prices and super close to where I live I am very very happy

I sold my father's Colt to these guys because they were the only ones who could tell me anything about it. I went to the two "big box" stores, and all they did was look in the "gun blue book" to try and guess what it was worth. At Pony Express, they pointed out specific things to me like the inspector's mark, the specific type of magazine it had, and the owner could even tell me the year it was made just by glancing at the serial number. These guys know their stuff. I didn't want my beloved Dad's gun going to someone who would use it for shooting practice because the place selling it had no idea what it was. I know it will go to someone who will care for it better than I could.

I called about 10 places looking for Smith and Wesson's new AR, and this was literally the only place that had it.

I am so thrilled that this place changed ownership. The shop is clean, bright, organized, they say hello when you walk in the door, and they have soem awesome stuff at great prices. Being an old fart I drool over the WWI and WWII rifles, but what I really wanted was the new Glock 43. They were sold out when I first went in, but they took my name and number. Get this, about a week later they ACTUALLY CALLED me saying they had just gotten some in! What other store would do that? Needless to say I rushed down, did the paperwork, and in about 10 minutes I had my 43. I've had a great tiem gloating to all my shooting buddies that I got mine first!!

I have never shipped a gun before, so I was extremely nervous about the whole thing. I called several stores near me and they would not ship my father's old rifle to my brother in Oregon. However, Pony Express would, and they charged me almost half of what I thought it would be. Regardless of the price though, the young man behind the counter talked me through the entire process, told me how it would be packed and sent to a gun store in Oregon so it was all above board, and I left reassured that I had followed all laws and that Dad's gun would get to my brother safely. I am not a shooter myself, so I don't know if I'll ever be buying anything from here, but they were so patient with me I wanted to leave a review to let everyone else know.

This is the ONLY place in the entire state of Colorado that I have been able to find 7.7mm ammo for my father in law's Japanese bring back rifle. My wife was beyond thrilled when I came home with some, because now we can go shooting with her Dad's gun when the weather warms up. I also saw a lot of other obscure military calibers, I wish I could remember them all but I was just so excited to find 7.7 Japanese. My son had a blast looking at all of their military antiques, too - they have demilled machine guns from WWII, deactivated grenades, civil war bullets, and huge artillery shells that my kiddo could probably climb into.

I will never go to any other gun store! I needed a very expensive, very specific hunting rifle for my husband for Christmas, but no one had one and not one store would order one for me....except this store. Miles, Jim, and the young girl who works there (I didn't get her name) all helped me through the process, got the rifle ordered, and went above and beyond to get it to me before Christmas, even though UPS was backed up for days. My husband was thrilled beyond belief because he was convinced no one locally could track the gun down. This place really cares about their customers, they were chatting and joking with me during the background check wait - they even helped me load it into my car! :)

I wanted a concealed carry gun because of all the scary stuff going on overseas, I figure it's just a matter of time before it shows up in my backyard. After the 2 guys behind the counter asked me a few questions and showed me some guns, I settled on a Bersa Thunder because it just fit my hand so well. What impressed me was they were not trying to get me to buy anything, in fact they kept telling me I should go and rent some guns first before buying to see what I liked. I did not want to wait though. I'm very happy with my gun and they also gave me the card of an NRA instructor so I could take the class for my permit. Very pleased!

I had been in here before with my Dad, and after going shooting with my husband and brother, I liked my brother's Glock 19 so much I decided to buy one for myself. After looking around at local prices, I saw this store had their inventory online, which no other store around here seems to do. The price was the lowest than anywere else, so my husband and I went in and there it was, Glock 19 Gen 4 in the case for the price I saw online. I filled out the silly government form, and they had my background check done in about 5 minutes. I was in the store for maybe 7-8 minutes total? Anyway they were super nice and had what I wanted at a great price, so Ill definitely be back!

This palce is half store, half museum. They have all kinds of old and obscure military guns, and helmets, artillary shells, WWI and WWII memorabalia/artifacts, and awesome propaganda posters framed on the walls. I went in because they actually have the Ruger AR556 in stock (I could not find it anywhere else), but I was blown away by all the cool stuff that was in there while I was waiting on my background chekc to come back. The 2 guys working behind the counter were pretty busy with other customers but answered all of my questions and were super nice.

I brought in 3 of my husband's guns (I am a widow). One is a shotgun from the 1880s so I was worried about how to keep them in good shape to hand down to my kids. The owner was able to tell me everything about the guns including their approximate worth, not that I would ever sell them. The gunsmith there cleaned them all up very nicely and let me know how to store them so they would stay in good shape for a long time to come. I was also very impressed with the store itself, they have an old cannon, a lot of old military antiques, and some really neat propaganda posters. Nice to see the younger generations appreciating such things.

I just turned 21 last month, and I was excited to get my 1st handgun. A couple other stores I went to completely ignored me, so I went here after hering good things about this shop. They were super knowledable and showed me probably 10 different guns before I decided on 1 to buy. Very happy
