Wissam Asfahani, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon and spine surgeon who sees patients at Neurosurgery One in Parker and Lone Tree. He specializes in treating all facets of neurosurgery including degenerative and traumatic disorders of the spine and brain, as well as brain and spinal cord tumors, traumatic brain injuries and movement disorders. Dr. Asfahani aspires to create a comfortable and cooperative environment where patients and their families can feel heard, appreciated and well cared for. He has been recognized for his outstanding patient care and dedication to high quality patient care. He uses the newest technologies and surgical techniques with the goal of providing his patients the most optimal outcomes. Dr. Asfahani completed medical school at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and his residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. When he is not caring for his patients, Dr. Asfahani enjoys spending time in the Parker community and getting to know his neighbors. You can often find him at local health fairs, farmer's markets and other community events. Dr. Asfahani speaks English, French and Arabic fluently.
