Wow I have read bad reviews about Echo before but we rented a trailer there this year which was clean and fairly nice compared to the one we rented about 5 years ago we was disgusting. But the propane didn't work and the door didn't open and shut easily and the bathroom door didn't shut at all. When I told the repair man that the door didn't work properly he laughed at me like I was stupid and just didn't know how to work a trailer door really condescendingly but my husband tried to explain to him that it was rubbing he said he would send his manager but never did. Plus my Husband tried taking a shower in the resort (Joke) shower and there was no hot water turned out they were out of propane and they did not know it. Plus when we first got there the septic was overflowing ..gross!!!

Wow, I’ve been staying at Echo Lodge for years now and although the staff always seemed somewhat put out whenever making reservations I never thought they were thieves. I just stayed there this last weekend and left something up in the TV cubicle area and now they’re telling me that it’s not there. Despite the fact that I explained that the value was $600.00 – they have absolutely no interest in helping me or questioning anyone there. No one has stayed in the trailer since, yet my property is still missing; the only one that has even gone into the trailer is the cleaning crew. This is truly disappointing and I will be staying at the River Shore from now on, nothing like this has ever happened there.
