I would like to let Avis customers know that Avis, in Wilmington, NC, is threatening to take my 18 year old son to court for leaving Avis and going to work for another car rental agency. My son worked for Avis for 3 months and left after several experiences where the owner embarrassed him in front of his co-workers for missing something when detailing a car. He was also told that it was bad for business to speak to employees of other rental agencies. He was a car detailer and not management.



My son has been forced to stop working at the new job and is not able to pay his rent and bills.



What kind of a company feels that it is OK to do this to young people just starting out. I hope that those that read this will use other rental companies that treat their employees with respect and a better work environment.
