Wow Margarita!



To put this out there, I am a bit of a Mexican Food snob. But what makes an enjoyable outing with friends are three things (for Mexican): 1) really good chips/salsa; 2) fun dining experience; 3) great service.



Amigo's Restaurant is not much on the outside, but it's a hidden Pasadena gem! The decor, not so much, but ... service with great/pleasant/prompt and funny. Chips/salsa very nice. The salsa had a great texture/flavor. Not my #1 fave, but definitely worth going back for. The menu is, shall we say, limited... but my burrito was fantastic. The best part -- the killer margarita! I think I had one/two sips before I was feeling good.



I'm still on the hunt for the perfect Mexican in LA -- but Amigo's is high on my list.
