Co-op Nursery School

Hasting's Ranch is a co-op preschool, meaning that the parents are expected to regularly work in the classroom and participate in the administrative and maintenance functions of the school. In return the tuition is quite affordable. Our schedule works out that we need to work in the classroom one day every other week. I work from home that morning and watch our younger child while my wife works in the classroom, so it isn't a great inconvenience. Other parents trade off baby-sitting duties.

Our son is in the half day, three day a week 2 year old program and loves it. The teachers and staff really seem to enjoy the kids. The kids participate in a variety of activities so each day is new and interesting.
