Provided by YPmobileThe waiters there are really polite and helpful. The pizza, BBQ Chicken, tastes delicious. The baked rigatoni was decent, although it was a bit heavily drenched in cheese.

Provided by YPmobileWe shared a chopped salad and boulevard pizza. The salad was fresh and the pizza had plenty of toppings including pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, mushrooms and peppers. We ended with a refreshing brownie sundae. Very good meal with friendly servers

Provided by YP.comWe went there on a Sunday night and ate a pasta dish with sausage and peppers. Anyways, about two hours later I became nauseous and overnight became sick. After I was sick and the food exited my system, I felt much better. Obviously, I do not know for sure if the food was bad, but I am not sure what else it could have been. I will never ingest food from that establishment again.

Provided by YP.comI'll admit it: I like Maria's Italian Kitchen. Then again, when I'm in the mood for Italian but don't want to spend a lot of, erm, dough, I'm easily pleased by warm rosemary focaccia, and easy dishes like Pasta Pomodoro (angel hair tossed with fresh basil, tomato and garlic) or the Aglio Olio (a similar dish, but tossed with olive oil, garlic and parsley instead) another reviewer wrote about.
The best secret to enjoying a meal here is to keep it simple, though I do miss the Pasta Amatriciana that they used to serve. I happened to ask about it on a whim on my last visit, and was happy to learn that I could order it on request, even though it's no longer on the menu. This is a very tasty dish made with bacon or pancetta, sauteed onions and tomato and - you guessed it - tossed with your pasta of choice. A great comfort dish if you're very hungry and looking for a bit of spice.
Anyway - as I said, all in all, I like Maria's. It's a chain, but it's decent and it's close to my neighborhood. I'll definitely be back again.

Provided by YP.comI loved the ambience here. A quaint little Italian kitchen, which is surprising because it is a chain. The fettucini alfredo was good, although it had a little bit too much sauce. The rosemary bread with olive oil was divine as was the Italian side salad.
Dessert choices were disappointing but that is a personal preference. I ended up not having dessert. Considering we shared the fetuccini alfredo and ordered two sodas, the bill was a little more than I expected ($26) but not horrible.

Provided by YP.comIt's not usually enough to say "I like this place," especially in a restaurant review, but when compared with other chain Italian places, Maria's usually elicits that response. Among the abundance of Italian-style chain restaurants popping up, I find that some are too pricey for what they offer - more ambiance than quality - while others are operated more diner-style and not what I think of when I want Italian fare. Maria's offers quality at a decent value, and for that they get three stars.
On a recent early Saturday evening visit to this place, my friend and I were promptly greeted and seated, and well attended to throughout our entire meal. On a whim, we ordered Italian Fries as an appetizer and they were, along with the basket of fresh focaccia bread, delicious. I had a simple dish of Aglio Olio - pasta with olive oil, garlic and parsley, and my dining companion enjoyed the broccoli pesto with cream.
Still, while mostly simple, the dishes we ordered were tasty, attractively presented and served in generous portions. In fact, we both ordered the dinner portion of our respective dishes which in hindsight, considering the focaccia and fries, may have been a bit much. Let's just say that we weren't afraid of carbs that night!
One thing that did take away from our experience was the somewhat "overly watchful" host - a manger maybe - whose frequent glances at our table were more than a bit unsettling. We arrived before the traditional dinner rush, and lingered only long enough to finish our iced teas and pay our bill. However, we we asked our server for a bag for our leftovers, the host/manager rushed over to usher us out, hastily handing over a bag or two as we left. This took away from what had been a mostly pleasant experience up until that time. Not enough to prevent me from going back, but bothersome enough to mention here in hopes that others don't have the same experience.

Provided by YP.comThis is a very good Italian restaurant. I highly recommend the Cleopatra salad as well as their pastas. The prices are a little high but still a good place to eat.
