Delightful!

Had a wonderful lunch here a few Saturdays ago with friends and absolutely LOVED it. Everyone in our party of five wanted something different - from breakfast to burgers to pasta - and we were delighted to find that the Novel Cafe offered breakfast and all their other menu items all day long. Nice! I ordered the French Onion burger sans mushrooms (I'm allergic) and a lovely Belgian styled ale from their awesome selection. My son ordered the Pasta Cabonara (shrimp added), and others in our party ordered sandwiches and fries (regular or sweet potato). My burger was cooked just right - medium rare - and was quite filling. It didn't taste like a bowl of french onion soup with a burger in the middle. Instead the flavors blended well and complimented each other. Everyone was quite full and satisfied at the end of our meal, which I believe came to just under $100 for five people (3 who enjoyed a beer or two). The only drawback? Parking. The lot in the back of this new-ish center has many spaces marked "employee parking" or"one hour limit," making it difficult to find a spot if you want to enjoy a leisurely meal. However, you may get lucky and find parking on the street right out front, so give it a try.
