Provided by YP.comMy main purposes for shopping at this store are its convenient location, competitive prices, and friendly service. I have been shopping at this store for more than 4 months now; sadly, I have read other people's reviews and I'm really not sure how this place could get so many negative ratings? The host has always been very nice to me, and to fellow patrons that I have personally witnessed. However, I have noticed that around the area, it appears that there is a great deal of white-collar people walking about and eating at local bistros. My impression on some of them was “cocky” and “nosey.”
In addition, since the host of Paw Boutique is clearly not from this country, coupled with her accent, my only guess is that some people who live around the area may be adept at casting a discerning view upon non-Americans. I myself, am an American War Veteran, born and raised in California, sent to Iraq during the OIF 06-08 campaign, but I am racially mixed (and proud of that)--I would appreciate those negative viewers to not visit the store with an already built attitude of "it's my way...only my way" and really just present a humble and good-natured demeanor as the host is very friendly.
Lastly, I will have to say that each time I visit this store to purchase the Keen dehydrated dog food from The Honest Kitchen, or other small treats, I have enjoyed each visit and will continue to go there for its simplistic nature, and humble demeanor.

Provided by YP.comi shopped in this store and was "not helped" by marina. she was either too bothered to care, or didn't know the answers to the questions about their products. also, check the expiration dates on anything you purchase there, as they had food that had expired back in 2008! you can also buy the same toys they have there cheaper at petsmart/petco. without the bad attitude.

Provided by YP.comI just recently visited this store twice and I really had a good feeling about the store. I believe the owners care a great deal about animals and it's not about money and greed to them. I previously purchased my dog food, Canidae from another pet store and not only was the food expired, it cost $2+ more than Paw Boutique. Too bad I could not get to visit the store anymore now that people are so hateful and extreme that their death threats caused the owners to go into hiding. It's really sad but your good Karma for all the good you've done for the animals you've saved will get you through this. It's sad how the fans of Ellen who loves her so much don't have a mind of their own. Stop being such zombies and think for yourself. That's what you've been given a brain for. I hope Paw Boutique can overcome this injustice done to them. I hope to shop at your store again one day. Please stay strong and continue to love and rescue animals as you have done for many years. THE FAMILY WHO WAS GIVEN THE PUPPY FOR A BREIF TIME IS GOING THREW HELL. A CONTRACT IS ONE THING BUT, FOR CHRIST SAKES TAKING IT THIS FAR IS INSANE. I HOPE YOU LOSE YOU BUSINESS!!! SUCH A HORRIBLE THING TO DO TO A SMALL CHILD. CRUEL!

Provided by YP.comShame on them for creating a media circus over this poor little animal that needs a loving home. I hope that they suffer GREAT hardship over this situation they have created and lose their business and are forced to close their boutique. They deserve NOTHING less!!!

Provided by YP.comYou can't be satisifed that this poor puppy finally had someone to love and pamper him. You're in it for the glory and the power not for the benefit of the dog. No one can give more unconditional love to a dog than a child. I hope the publicity ruins your business.

Provided by YP.comGo out of business! What is wrong with you?! Children are not good for small dogs!? And I suppose YOU are?? Go get a new job. Hope this incident ends your career playing the stork for animals.

Provided by YP.comSmall dogs can be raised in homes with children under the age of 14. We own Yorkshire terriers and have since our children were as young as two. None of our dogs have suffered any injuries or mistreatment, unless you call extreme loving mistreatment. I think you are the ones being the bullies and have not worked toward any resolution. If this is how you conduct your business I have no doubt that few will want to do business with you. As I see it you are not considering the dog, but your own self-pride.

Provided by YP.comA "policy" that does not allow dogs to be adopted to families with children under age 14? How ridiculous! Apparently these folks don't truly care about the dogs. LOTS of families with younger children successfully adopt dogs every day. My family (with a nearly 10 year old boy) just adopted a sweet little lab mix puppy from a no kill shelter. The child and the pup are inseparable. The pup was saved and we have a new member in our family - thanks to a shelter that cared enough to not establish a stupid rule like moms and mutts has done.
A visit to the home to check out the new owners and the home would have been appropriate, but just flatly taking the dog was mean.
These people should not be allowed to shelter animals. I hope all the folks in Pasadena boycott this place of business.

Provided by YP.comWhat kind of caring, concerned human being would do this to a poor dog and the children that love and care for it? The owners of the Paws Boutique and "Mutts & Moms" are COWARDS (taking down websites, or limiting access to sites, refusing to comment, or face the music, etc.). They are control hungry, greed crazy oportunists that are jumping on the publicity band-wagon. Leave Ellen alone, Leave the loving family alone, and Let Izzy go back to the loving home they created for her. I hope your business fails, and you are left with nothing to show for your arrogance but your "fifteen minutes of fame". I feel sorry for any other animals in "your care", and any other customers you steal pets from. SHAME ON YOU!!!

Provided by YP.comPlease america let's not patronize a business that would rather stick it to a celebrity over the well being of an innocent child. Shame on you. Anyone who patonizes this business is contributing to the demoralization of america. Let's hit 'em where it hurts in there pocket. And lets dig into their personal lives and see what kinds of mistakes the owners of this shelter has ever made. MUTTS AND MOM'S and Paws Boutique both suck!! Give the dog back.

Provided by YP.comGive the dog back, plain and simple. You're only making a fuss because it's a celebrity's ex-pet. She gave the animal to a loving home with two children who adored the pet. But I guess love isn't ample qualifications for one of your animals. Shame on you for breaking the hearts of children and probably confusing the poor animal as well. It had already adjusted and you came and removed the animal again so now it's back in a cold, lonely shelter where its just another dog. Shame on you, just plain shame. I hope you find it in your hearts to return the animal, not because of threats or emails but because you know it's the right thing. Good luck with your business, cause you'll definitely need it after this. Because of you, two little girls went to bed crying last night. Hope you slept well.
