Provided by YP.comI stumbled upon Pro Fitness while looking for a good sports massage. Their massage service is extremely good. I've been a regular for quite some time. It's a serious massage, a combination of several techniques. Hannah is my personal favorite. After a few massages I got involved with their semi-personal training program and love it. It's very personal, only 2 - 4 people to a class and it's not too expensive. The owner, Carina, leads the semi-personal training classes and she's fantastic. She really knows her stuff and keeps the class moving.

I've never gotten such a great workout in such a short amount of time -- until I started taking the Kettlebell classes taught by Martin. He rocks!!
I had tried Kettlebell classes a few times at nearby gyms, but I never really felt like I was getting a good workout.
But, after taking the semi-private classes with Martin, I now realize that I wasn't executing the majority of the moves for maximum effect. So, it's no wonder that I wasn't seeing the results that I deserved from my workouts, until he showed me how to work my body effectively at PFN. And now, I'm seeing fantastic results !!
I'd recommend Pro Fitness Network to anyone who would like to amp up their workouts without breaking the bank.

Provided by YP.comI have been struggling with my weight for years and, like so many others, have tried every diet, and purchased and done everything under the sun to lose weight. So for me to be able to write this review about something that actually works for me is MAJOR! I am extremely happy to have discovered ProFitness Network in Pasadena.
I’ve been working with Carina, my trainer, for only a little over 4 weeks so far, but I can already tell that my body is changing. My clothes are looser, my body firmer, and although tired, I actually feel “good” when I leave my workouts. Carina is so cheerful and positive, you can’t help but smile everytime you walk in and see her smiling face! She was very thorough in my initial intake, my personal needs and level of physical health. So my training is specifically geared to what I am physically able to do and what I want to achieve. She will make changes to the workout as my fitness level changes. I like personal attention, but don’t like someone “hovering,” so semi-personal training with Carina is perfect for me!
When I first contacted Carina, I also told her that I wanted help with weight loss, but that I definitely did not want to count calories. She very kindly (and patiently) explained to me that I needed to know what I was consuming so that I could be aware of all the contributing factors to my being overweight. She suggested I meet Julia, the nutrition coach, see if it was something for me, and if I didn’t like it, I could pass. Wow! I’m so happy I decided to give it a try! Julia is great!!! She is experienced, knowledgeable and fun to work with. She’s given me tons of information, and various simple but efficient techniques and ideas that really work! Now, after having been introduced to the BodyBugg and learning to log my calorie intake, I’ve lost 6 pounds in just three weeks! It’s much easier than I thought it would be, and actually kind of fun! I find I’m actually starting to memorize measurements and calories quickly – it’s something that becomes automatic!
I also had some problems with lower back pain when I started, so Carina recommended Vanessa to me, an excellent massage therapist! After my first massage, I didn’t want to get up from the table! My body was SO RELAXED and the pain in my back (and everywhere else in my body) was gone! She relieved the pain, and even gave me exercises I could do at home myself. I really look forward to regular appointments with her!
What I appreciate most about ProFitness is the attention each one has given me, and the knowledge that I’ve gained in such a short time. Carina, Julia and Vanessa have made it easier for me to understand my body and what I need to do regarding my own health. What's also great is that they work in conjunction with each other, making whatever adjustments are needed to give you the best service/care possible.
There is so much “out there” about health, nutrition and weight loss, and it can be hard to figure out what is best for you personally. But ProFitness Network has helped to clear the confusion for me. Now I KNOW I can reach my goals, and actually ENJOY getting there!

Provided by YP.comi was first was introduced to pro fitness about 8 mths, my boyfriend bought us a pilates package at the studio. after finishing the pilates package, i decided to join the semi-personal training group with karina. it's been 8 months & i feel fit & in shape. my friends have even noticed the change. i love the semi-personal session bc karina still gives me the one on one attention you would get from a personal trainer, just not at the high cost. the people are great, the facility is clean. highly recommended.

Provided by YP.comI started one-on-one personal training with Carina in the 1994. What I learned from her inspired me to work out on my own. Many years later I saw Carina and she was so encouraging and pleased that I had continued a regular exercise program that I decided to come back for more! Her new program called semi-personal training meets my needs physically and is a lot of fun. I find that regular training with Carina and the atmosphere at Pro Fitness Network keeps me wanting to come back for more! Diane

Carina Weston, Owner and trainer, is knowledgeable, professional, caring, firm...and she delivers results! I would recommend her to anyone whom is serious about getting in shape and staying healthy for life!

Provided by YP.comI have been working out at Pro Fitness network for about 3 years with Carina Weston, the owner. Aside from being a trainer, she is also a great person to know and makes you feel like more of a friend rather than a client. As a young student I am unable to spend too much on the gym. But at Pro Fitness you can have a semi personal training session at only $30 an hour. Carina is great at meeting the needs of her clients even when there are multiple people working out. She has sculpted my body amazingly and I would not reccomend anyone else. I have also taken pilates with Maria and I have gotten a massage as well--which were both better than I have had anywhere else, and at an extremely great price. The facilities in the 3 studios are all nice and clean. Like many people, I am quite intimidated by gyms, but the clients and instructors at Pro Fitness Network make you feel like you're working out in the comfort of your own home.
