As a repeat renter from this company (had to move away and back due to job relocation), I've never had a less than stellar experience with this company. They've consistently been up front with the move-in cost, deposits, etc. They've been quick to respond to my requests for repairs. Sure the apartment lifestyle has some factors that are out of their control (heavy-stepping neighbors, extremely rare car break ins), but they have regularly done their best to accommodate and give all tenants a comfortable tenancy. From the majority of negative reviews I've seen about them, it seems most of these are from ignorant tenants who have neglected reading their lease in full, because most of the alleged "unfair charges, dishonest practices" etc stem from not educating yourself on your contract and on basic tenant/landlord relationships. When I moved out, I was given the option of a pre-inspection, I was told of the potential charges, and I was aware that if I did not leave the unit in it's original move-in condition (per the lease I did sign), it would come out of my security deposit along with the invoices to back up those charges.

Before I search with any other company or website for an apartment, I've always checked with them first, knowing I would be more than happy to live in most of their buildings as they all have a great standard of upkeep, no matter who the manager was.

Very unhappy renter

Amber, need proper management training. She is not very kind or professional at all! She lives in the building and does not walk the grounds daily to see if it clean. I've witnessed vomit on the 1st floor elevator on the Harvard side for 5 days. The elevators are always breaking. It's Christmas time and Harvard side elevator broke on Wednesday evening 12/17/14 and it is still broke today Sunday 12/21/14! She has no sense of urgency! The main office in Pasadena rarely answer calls. We've gone without our mail delivered for over 3 weeks! I called the post office and they stated the Management has to properly label the mailboxes! Until, it is properly labeled, our mail has to be picked up. I wish PINTL will take these complaints seriously and properly train these managers.

I wish I could give these bastards a zero star; I use to reside there. Their management style is compatible with that of “Mexican Mafia” enough SAID. Extortion, lying, cheating, just to name a few, Take your business somewhere else. Numerous other nicer , newer, cleaner safer and professionally run properties in pasadena.





And most Likely the manager or the company posted the positive ratings. Don’t believe any feedback higher than 1 star . STAY away from these unprofessional, corrupt, evil louses.

If I could give NO STARS, I would...it's funny (not really) to see that nothing has changed since I moved from here based on the reviews! I normally would never leave bad reviews as I feel that if you dont have anything nice to say, then you shouldnt say anything at all....and actually I usually give really nice reviews (this isnt one of those 'only angry people voice out' situation) when deserved BUT in this case, many years have passed since I have lived here... & I truly am only vocalizing my opinions to help out those poor prospective victims of this property. Please believe me when I say that this is by far the worst property/site manager EVER! I am speaking with an excellent & long (10+ yrs) of rental history...I have seen places that have good & bad managers and places that are nice and some not so nice but 241 S. Hudson Avenue in Pasadena is the most dishonest and sketchy business I have ever had to deal with. The on-site manager, Sylvia, is nice at first but this quickly changes as soon as you sign your lease. To make things short, yes the apartments are cheap & yes they are very conveniently located in Pasadena BUT (& a BIG BUT at that).... no, it's absolutely not worth your money or sanity! If you want to deal with dirty/stalkerish peeping from window shades (Sylvia), uncommunicative & dishonest on-site manager (Sylvia), brown water due to how old the building pipes are, rats (ewww!) in the laundry facility area & then have your COMPLETE deposit taken from you, for normal apt living because the property uses your $$$ to paint, clean, etc. when they should really be using the money they collect from you each month THEN I would strongly suggest living here :) along with a LOT of good luck to ya!

SILVIA is a LIAR - Never seen a worse lady or rental compan

There must be a reason why everyone is giving Properties International a bad rating.

When we moved in Silvia was very nice to us. When we were pointing out defects in the apartments - She told us these are minor things and not to bother......... as if they never charge for small things.

When we moved out Silvia - refused to give us a move out inspection. She was suddenly SO rude to us. I dunno how or why! and then she made crazy charges which were just NOT TRUE! And she threatened us that she'll charge us more if she is given a hard time! And guess what ! THATS WHAT SHE DID!

WHAT A ************************* !

PLS REQUEST A MOVE OUT INSPECTION A FEW WEEKS IN ADVANCE. and you have the RIGHT to have one. Coz if you don't it works in their favor and then they charge you for stuff you didn't do! PLS TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES coz ull need evidence.

AND PLS DONT RENT WITH THEM. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!! EVEN IF YOU GOTTA PAY MORE ELSEWHERE GO FOR IT.

HATE THEM. THEY WASTED MY TIME ENERGY AND NOT TO MENTION $800 WHICH THEY CHARGED FOR CRAP

Decent company

It has been a great experience renting from this company. The building manager is great. The maintenance is amazing. The building is little old but very well maintained. Never had any issues with any of the plumbing, wiring, A/C UNIT.

highly recommend to anyone.
