Totally awesome. I want to come back week after week to get that yummy garlic spread in their sandwiches. You need to check this place out, you won't be disappointed. I wish every restaurant like this served the special sauce and offered such a great deal on a big sandiwch. If you love sandwiches, you need to put this on your bucket list. Just don't tell anyone about this place, I hate it when my favorite spots get crowded.

Root Beer Joe's was a definite surprise. Today was the first day of business. I was a little skeptical, but decided to go in just for a drink. To my surprise, the owner (Joe - - of course) was quite friendly. Suggested I get a "garlic-ky" sandwich to go with my drink. I tried the turkey (to be safe). Loved it. My afternoon relaxing in the courtyard of the Burlington Arcade with a sandwich and bottle of root beer was a inexpensive retreat from the bustling Lake Avenue.



They serve yogurt too. I would definitely visit again.
