My husband and I hired Bruce Howard affiliated with "Reliable Local Contractor" and “The Original Home Solution” and a few other businesses. A friend recommended him. We gave him 8,000 + 2,800 partial payment for a job to be done in 3-4 weeks. Kitchen cabinets stained, tile flooring, granite on kitchen countertops, etc. After we hired him for the job he came to work tues-thurs for 3-4 hours a day ... after 2 months we finally confronted him about the deadline that he's over and a few other things (he decided he didn't want to pay for the granite on the kitchen island) and even though he was weeks over schedule decided he didn't want to drive an hour away to pick up the tile that was out of stock. My husband offered to pick up the tile etc. He stopped answering our calls and never finished the job. My floors are all torn up and he pocketed our money. Do not hire this person. After searching the Internet I found a few bad reviews.
