From there, he completed both an internship and a Family Medicine residency with Baylor Family Practice Program in 1987 and 1989, respectively. After time in private practice, Dr. Theriot joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2024. In his Family Medicine practice, he sees patients with diverse problems ranging from acute upper respiratory infections to more chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. Dr. Theriot is particularly interested in helping patients prevent diseases with diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.

Provided by Doctor.comDr. Theriot is an amazing doctor. He really listens and cares about your concerns. He asks questions and spends as much time as necessary with you. No rush, rush, push people through here! The wait can be longer than some, but for the attention he gives each patient it is understandable and completely worth it. He is very caring and knowledgable. If he isn't sure of something he will go look it up - not give incorrect information. I will never go to another doctor. He is the best!
