I lived in Paterson on Lewis Street when I was a boy.... We moved to Bergen County but I still remember St. Stephens Church.
I was about 6 years old when we moved but I still remember Christmas Mass and walking to church on Sunday with Mom. Nice to live close to a Church.
Paterson was a hard working City and it was just recovering from World War 11 and The Korean Conflict. My memories are of the old Armory and having a fabulous Christmas Party there. Also memories of School number 15 .
My old house still is standing on Lewis St. It was across a Protestant Church and we always heard such beautiful singing.
Paterson NJ and St Stephens Church hold found memories for me. I am 70 years old and memories are important as we get older. JIM
