Provided by YPmobileHonestly, the Waterford location needs to renovate. It is very average and kinda dusty. On the positive side, the staff are always very nice, and their concession stand prices are reasonable compared to some of the other theaters. Bottom line, it depends on personal preference. Personally, I prefer cathedral seating and huge screens with state of the art surround sound and high def picture. But, all of that fancy stuff cost money, thus jacking up the price of the ticket from ten bucks to fourteen bucks and a drive out to Warwick, RI. But, if you are looking for a relaxing time watching and don't mind a smaller theater, then this is the place for you.

Provided by YP.comLast night eight of my friends and I went to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter, and it was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. We were one of the first in line and were let into one of the theaters (apparently they had opened three or four cinemas due to turnout). A few minutes after we found seats two people went to the bathroom. A few minutes later, two more of my friends went to buy more refreshments. Their belongings were left on their seats. Meanwhile, the employees were letting groups of twenty or so in at a time, so people were still finding seats. An usher approached me and my friends and we were told "no save seats" like we were 11 and were trying to pull a fast one. We told the usher we had friends in the lobby/restroom, that they had already been sitting, they were just stuck in the food/restroom line. A few moments later he ran up to us frantically and started yelling at us that if out friends didn't show up in one minute we would have to move all their belongings and find new seats. "THERE'S TOO MANY PEOPLE, TOO MANY TICKETS, YOU CAN'T HOLD SEATS! You're going to have to move!" Even though I explained everything, we were forced to move into the very front and to the side seats. This kid SCREAMED at us, I have never been so humiliated. Thirty seconds after we moved our friends came back.
It turns out there was only TWO people working the concession stand during this sold out showing, and that's why they took forever and consequently were forced to give up our seats.
Then we waited for about two hours for the movie to start. At about 12:30 one of my friends went out front to find out why the movie wasn't starting and not a single employee would tell them anything (no apology, no explanation, no estimate of when the movie would start). Four of my friends had to leave due to work early in the morning and children at home with a babysitter. One of my friends, a police officer, and I approached the only employees we'd seen for the last hour, and we were treated like irritants. Once again, NO APOLOGIES and TOTAL RUDENESS. Three of us decided to stay, because we really wanted to see the movie. The movie finally started at 12:55.
Unfortunately, there was no A/C running and it was about 80 degrees in the theater. A few patrons actually took their shirts OFF and most customers were fanning themselves during the 2 1/2 hour movie.
This whole experience was absolutely terrible. And not once did a staff member or manager address the crowd to explain anything, or apologize. Noone offered compensation.
I hope that someone contacts me about this awful experience.
I can tell you that our group (which ranges from 7-14 people) will drive the extra 20 minutes to go to another company's theater each week, and we will tell everyone we know about what a terrible experience they'll have at this theater.
