I didn't have high expectations as I had been disappointed by many hair salons since I got to Rhode Island. But Fanta and her girls were just amazing. They are friendly, fast and consistent! She took care of my hair with such grace and even when my tough natural hair was playing hard to get she fought back with gentle love and ensure I felt no pain. People aren't always so patient with tough hair and leave the client in lots of pain for days or weeks after the appointment. I live in Middletown town but will definitely be willing to travel an hour to receive this incredible service!! Thank you Ms. Fanta!! See you next month! :) P.S they even parked my car for me lol!

I met Fanta through a friend's recommendation over ten years ago. At the time, I needed someone who could "nurse" my daughter's hair after being so severely damaged. Fanta is passionate about what she does- braids, extensions, taking care of natural hair...you name it! She is professional and definitely listens to and addresses the needs of her clients. Today, my daughter's hair is almost shoulder length?(yes! its all natural :-). I highly recommend Fanta to anyone who is looking for the "wow" in braids/weaves etc,...her prices are reasonable. When you get your hair braided /done at Fanta's, you will find people asking you "where did you get your braids/weave etc done?" This has happened to us in the mall, in the high school, at functions. What better way to advertise?! I encourage you to give Fanta "a try"(10 years ago, I went in to just check her out and see if how she would get my daughter's hair back to healthy growth) and watch the beginning of a long term relationship. Seriously!!
