The Town of Payson Water Department is operated by the government of Town of Payson in Arizona. The Water Department is a public water utility that supplies drinking water to approximately 16,000 people within a 19.5 square mile area. The water system includes 42 active production wells, over 8 million gallons of storage capacity, over 180 miles of distribution lines, booster-pumping stations, a groundwater recharge project, and water treatment facilities. Additionally, The Town of Payson governs various other departments, including finance, fire, legal, library, human resources, parks, recreation and tourism, to name a few.
