Provided by YP.comI had a big issue in the clinic where I was told one thing and then they told me another, but they fixed what they had done.

Provided by YP.comI don't think we could be happier with the service we get at Payson Family Pet Hospital. Dr. Elizabeth Frampton is thorough, compassionate and always has our best interests in mind. We consider her a very valuable asset to our whole family. We really appreciate the service we always get at PFPH.

I would not take my pets anywhere else! The doctors really gave me the best guidance they could and helped me to make a decision based on a lot of different things including my income. I know a lot of people complain about veterinary costs but I would imagine that it is not cheap to run an animal hospital. They are high quality, clean, have friendly service, and very smart helpful vets. I have never felt like I was lied to or that they tried to be sneaky about getting more money. They have been upfront and forward about costs.

I have taken several pets to Payson Family pet hospital over the last six years and I have always been happy. Yesterday I took my cat in to get spayed and de-clawed. I was quoted $280 which was double what I could get it for at another veternarian. I felt it was worth it because I trusted them to provide the best care. Today when I went to pick up my cat, after all of the necessary additional expenses it was $320. I was then informed that my cat had been licking her wounds (shocking that an animal is licking their wounds) and that she was getting infected. They suggested an antibiotic at a cost of an additional $40. Now I am a nurse and understand post operative infections and couldn't understand while antibiotics were not already given to prevent the infection. They said that was not their policy..it might cause diarrhea. I thought it should have been included but they wanted more money. They then brought my cat out and she was bleeding all over the place I was not impressed!

We have a pet that has been on the same medication, same dosage, for nearly 7 years. No changes in his symptoms have occurred either. This vet refused to refill my pets medication without me paying over $200 in unnecessary blood work. While a yearly exam is understandable, the law does not require addtional testing, which is what we were told. This is not true as per Utah State. My dog ran out of his medication and began having multiple seizuries because of their refusal to refill his meds without these tests. Because the law does not require the blood work, it was a blatent attempt to extort additional money out of our family. Times are difficult for everyone now and I found it disgusting that they would try to literally black mail me into paying for additional tests.
