Provided by SuperpagesHannaford does not have a checkout for 12 items or less like other supermarkets. You have to wait in a long line with others who have cartloads full of food.

Provided by SuperpagesMy first encounter with Hannaford's was in Wells, Maine years ago. I was very happy when they opened a supermarket in West Peabody, MA!!! It is a well run, comfortable store. All the departments are top shelf. I expecially like the bakery and deli. The produce is alway fresh and attractively displayed. The store is very clean and aisles are not cluttered. All the associates/cashiers, etc. are cheerful, helpful, and knowledgable.
