Oak Grove Elementary School, located in Peachtree City, Ga., offers an elementary curriculum for students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school is affiliated with the Fayette County School System and more then 420 students are enrolled with the school. The various subjects offered include English, language, literature, art, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition, the school provides foreign language, music, fine arts and computer technology classes. It offers a variety of facilities, such as a library and a media center, computer laboratory, cafeteria and clinic. The school s computer laboratory has over 20 workstations equipped and connected with multimedia computers with Internet connections and LCD projectors. Oak Grove Elementary School also administers the Georgia Writing Assessments in grades three and five and the Georgia Kindergarten Assessment Program for all kindergarten students every year.
