JMS Air and Heat is a fantastic company. They have installed 4 HVAC systems at various properties I own. Their prices are unbeatable, service is excellent, and response time is fantastic. They are the first call I make whenever I need service on an existing AC unit.

Terrible service don't use this company. I was referred by my warranty company. We agreed an appointment and after taking off work to travel the one hour commute to be there during the agreed time window they call 30 minutes before the set time and told me they could not make it until 2 days later. Then two days later I get a call a call 1.5 hours prior to the front end of the agreed time window saying they needed to come earlier because they were done with other calls. Again one hour away at work I race across town and arrange for someone to let them in at earlier time. Meanwhile the service tech pulls up and informs the person I arrange to meet him that he can only deal with owner, slams the truck door in his face and drives off as I'm on the other end of the phone trying to relay info and let him in. I call office (still 15 minutes) prior to the pre-agreed time ask them to honor our agreed time with no luck and he hangs up shouting were closed (@ 2:45pm really!)

James fixed my AC for $200. The other guy I called wanted $5100-6100 to "replace" everything because "it couldn't be fixed." James not only proved the other guy a liar by fixing the problem the other guy said "was not the problem." He also gave me a quote for the same "replacements" if I ever needed them. Lets just say under $1000 for external dry unit replacement to under $2000 for complete system replacement. Completely professional. Awesome engineer. Excellent service. I'm writing a review on JMS's service and quality. I give them 5 stars out of 5.

James drives recklessly and cut me off in traffic on the beltway today. Guess he doesn't know the effects of gamma Radiation when it's exposed in a motor vehicle accident. Called him to let him know I was behind him and the hazerdous material I was hauling and he cursed at me and blocked my number. I'd avoid at all cost.

Worst service ever. JMS was referred to us by our warranty company. We scheduled an appointment and they never showed. When we called they claimed our warranty company cancelled our appointment. I called my warranty company upset and they claim they would not have cancelled our appointment. We requested them to come out and they came out at 11:00pm. They checked our system and said we had a freon leak. Unfortunately they did not have the tools to find the leak and told us to make another appointment to find the leak. We rescheduled another appointment for Tuesday between 2 and 4 pm. When I called to confirm the appointment I was told they no longer service homes through my warranty company. I said "why did you schedule the appointment with us", the response I received was the appointment was made with an employee who was just fired. I also asked were they even going to call and tell me this and I was yelled at and I quote "what part of I don't service your warranty company don't you understand" and then I was hung up on. I highly recommend finding a different A/C company. I have never been treated so poorly. If your warranty company recommends them please ask for another contractor. If I could give them zero stars I would.

We had our AC repaired by JMS in July 2013. James was polite and quick to repair my AC. They made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I will be using them in the Future for my AC and Heat checkups.
