I had been a client of Chris Trevino's for just over a year. In February 2016 I had Chris put hair extensions in. He stated that the tape in extensions he recommended do not damage hair like other extensions do. So, $800 later, I had a head full of hair extensions. It was after this time that I was informed that it would be $100 to move the extensions up (due to grow out) about every four weeks. Three extensions came out during this time, taking my own hair with them. I had the extensions removed on May 16, incurring another charge. I was also sent home with 10-12 spots of the adhesive glue still in my hair. The glue used for these extensions is intense - think removing bubble gum from hair. I emailed salon owner Phyllis Jaquay (and Chris) very politely sharing my concerns and how disheartening the experience had been. I got no reply to my email. This experience demonstrated a lack of true care for clients and a lack of professionalism by a business owner. Untrustworthy salon.

I looked up some reviews on a Friday night to see if there was anyone good out there. I ran across the comments for Swan at Ideal Hair and next thing you know I am sitting in her chair on Saturday morning. She was able to squeeze me in between appointments. The environment is low key, but her hair cutting skills were expertise. She listened to my comments and did an awesome job. I am very picky, especially when it comes to my bangs and the length of my hair. I have long hair and I plan on keeping it that way. I would recommend her to my family and friends and I will be returning.
