It was a horrible experience - I called for an appointment on February 14, 2014 - for my daughter - we had snow this morning - so we decided to go to a local place. The manicurist was late - thats ok - the roads were not great. My daughter needed manicure and pedicure - it took her over 1 1/2 hours for the pedicure - it got to the point i had to tell them to cancel the manicure - it appears the lady working on my daughter was new - and having trouble with the french style. No one offered to help the manicurist - no one addressed the issue my dauhgter had been there for a long time. In fact i stood in front of the reception desk for over three minutes before I was looked at - I blame managment - if you had a manicurist that was new - say so - watch her - help her out. We left and went to our usual place and had to redo all - in less than 44 minutes. I will not return. Not even an apology. I did tip the manicurist - she tried. Managment never addressed anything

I was wary about trying some where new but after reading the reviews I finally decided to go. Best choice! They were half the price of my former salon and much more gental to my nails! I got a 10 finger design and it looks great'!

I love Gorgeous Nails ! I have been going there for as long as it has been open. I have never had any problems ever. They are courtesy , respectful and always have my best interest in hand. I have been getting my nails done for 16 years now and Gorgeous Nails has never failed me. I have never gotten any fungus and they have never come off no matter how hard I work and they always Look great. I go once a month and Lynn always has a creative design to give me she knows what I like and i have to say she has never let me down. I tell her what occasion and she does the rest. The staff has been there since the start and there is not a lot of staff changes so everyone becomes like family. If there is any new technology they are on it to make sure there customers have the Latest and the Best . I receive so many compliments and recommend them Highly :)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE coming here! For 6 years I've come to this nail salon. Love the people that work here, fun atmosphere, and lots of laughing! A couple of years ago the owner expanded with a hair salon - great idea! The place is very modern, with great stylists.

I highly recommend this salon to anyone considering a change - you will get one on one personal treatment, and a couple of laughs to go along! Everyone feels like family!

For the past 6 years, I have patronized Gorgeous Nails Salon. I initially went to get a mani/pedi for my vacation but I received such superior service on that first visit I kept going back. Every other Saturday morning, I travel from Yonkers to Peekskill for Lingh, the owner, to make my nails look fabulous. I simply adore the spa pedicures I get because they totally relax me. Lingh is also adept in applying permanent make-up and she made my eyebrows look spectacular.



Every employee at Gorgeous Nails is skilled, professional, courteous and fun to be around. I look forward to my appointments because I know I will experience wonderful customer service in a pleasing environment.

I have been going to Gorgeous Nails for over ten years now. First, the entire staff is very friendly, courteous and welcoming. I get my nails done by Phuong. She has been servicing me consistently for these many years. She is always very careful with my nails. Phuong always thinks of different things to do with my nails. She knows exactly what colors I like and what designs I would like. Phuong is always very patient and I have never seen her get angry or otherwise. When Phuong is on vacation, Nam, Jen, Sandy or Lynn do my nails. All of them do a great job!

Last year, I had the eyebrow tatoos done by Lynn. The eyebrows look very natural and the color match was perfect. I get quite a bit of complements from other women and refer them to Lynn. Lynn always checked my eyebrows after the procedure to make sure that the color stayed on well and the skin healed properly.

I also have to say that Lynn keeps bringing in new things to the business. Adding the hair salon, tatooing and eyelash end of the business complement the business overall. This month Gorgeous is putting on a Fashion Show on the 22nd, something new and fun.

As a customer, I feel welcomed and appreciated and that is why I recommend Gorgeous Nails to family and friends.

When I went there I sat with my friend for about 25 minutes just waiting for the receptionist to acknowledge us. Then when I sat down in the chair the woman was extremely rough with me pulling my hands towards her and rushing her process. I specifically told her when we began to be careful with my cuticles because I don't push them back often. But she ignored me, pushing them back until they were non-existant and plucking them so much that all of my ten fingers were bleeding. My cuticles were bleeding so much that it actually bled INTO the nail polish itself. But she just kept going like nothing was wrong, gooping on the nail polish so that even after I was home for a few hours it was still wet. I had to take off all of the nail polish that night and put liguid bandages on each and every one of my fingers. I assure you that I will never be going back into that salon. Every time I drive past it I physically cringe.
