Peekskill Public Works oversees the planning, organization and implementation of various types of maintenance projects. Located in Peekskill, N.Y., the public works department provides a wide variety of services pertaining to civil and traffic engineering, sewers, streets, solid waste, storm drains and recycling. Open Monday through Friday, the department s building services division provides maintenance and repair services for city-owned buildings, and offers technical support and assistance to departments in facility construction. The department s engineering division offers various services, including surveying, geoprocessing updates, project inspections, drafting, and building permit reviews. Additionally, it provides 24-hour emergency services and general engineering information to citizens and other city departments.
