Provided by YP.comI recently had a concern about my neighbors starving animals which I called Cheatham County animal control about. They were NOT prompt in responding to my concerns. Later in that week we found out my neighbor had passed away. The cops had to demand for them to finally come out. When they did come out they only picked up the starving dogs and horse after letting them suffer for over a week. The lady also had cats which they have still not picked up. These cats are still suffering and starving. My neighbor and I have called Cheatham County animal control multiple times asking them to come get these deprived animals, and place them in caring home. Some of these animals are still kittens and have a chance for a good life. We also have contacted the media and the mayor begging for help for these animals. The only responce we seem to get is "they'll be picked up." This has been an ongoing thing for over a month now. We pay taxes so that places like animal control can be open and take care of homeless animals. This is there job and there mission. Cheatham county is leaving it up to my neighbor and I to care for, feed and find homes for thease animals. This is animal neglect and Cheatham county should be held accountable for the lives of these animals.
