I really like anytime fitness in Pekin, IL because if your a member you can go anytime even when there are no staff in the building. You can pay month by month or sign a 12 month or 18 month contract w/ the first month free until may 2012. This gym membership only costs $34.99 a month and tanning is $10.99 unlimited for a month. All the cardio equipment in the first 2 rows have tv's and all the cable channels work. Anytime fitness is a really nice and clean place to go to. Plus no1 pays attention to you while you are working out.

I have been a member for three different Anytime Fitness facilities due to relocations.



Pros:I find the lady is very nice and the staff keep the facility VERY clean. I love that classes are offered and the free weights have their very own room. There is also tanning available during staffed hours.



Cons: There are not enough cardio machines. Also, there is some alleged issue between Comcast and them in regards to only having 5 channels on the machines and them all being fuzzy. This should have been fixed forever ago and should not be a "selling point" if it is not working.
