All of the plants we've purchased for our home have come from Old Heritage. Up until now I'd recommend them to others however, after our latest purchase of a Cleveland Select Pear tree I will no longer be recommending then to others or buying any others plants there again. A couple of days after planting the tree we purchased there we noticed the bottom few branches no longer had leaves on them. We thought maybe the deer liked them. Once I started seeing leaves scattered throughout the yard I noticed that all of the leaves had begun to develop brown spots. Upon doing a little research I discovered that the tree had Entomosporium Leaf Spot. The only way to treat this was to remove all of the leaves, cut a few branches from the bottom and treat with a fungicide. As this was a brand new tree we took it back to Old Heritage. The staff was extremely rude and said there was nothing wrong with the tree, even though you can clearly see that it is missing the bottom 1/3 of the leaves and all of the rest were turning brown.... in May. They first said, it's just from all of the rain we've been having and then said, well it could be fire blight (it is nothing like fire blight). After a bit of arguing and being extremely rude they agreed to take it back minus a 15% restocking fee. That's right, they are restocking this diseased tree to sell again. There are at least three other Cleveland Select Pears in stock that are suffering from the same fungal disease. These people have absolutely no knowledge of the product they are selling and are very rude about it. I for sure will never buy another thing from them!

Even after three years, I am still furious with Old Heritage Landscaping. The contractors were so willing to help me out...until they received their $3500. When I called to ask for some follow-up work, more than once, no one seemed available to me. Plants died...as expected...but they weren't replaced and it was within the one year guarantee. Then when I attempted to replant, I found that the original landscaping of river rock was just covered with a thin layer of topsoil, no weed barrier, and light mulch. You can only imagine the mess that I now have...this was done in two different beds that were supposed to be replaced with new materials. I can barely plant anything new because of the buried rocks...UGH!! I would love to put a sign in my yard advising all residents to never do business with this disreputable company. If you do, make sure you're home and watch that your very expensive job is completed correctly...because Old Heritage DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT!!
