Total scam. First of all if you are dedicated to going to the gym and this is a regular weekly thing for you and part of your routine the gym itself is great. However the membership for $10 a month is a total scam.
In July I went to cancel my membership. They talked me into "transferring" it to my husband for NO FEE. They did not mention that the membership was going to be considered "new" at that point meaning a yearly fee would be due after three months. I had just paid this annual fee of $39.99 one month earlier.
When my husband went to cancel today it cost him $59.99!! Not only is this a total scam but to make matters worse the girl said she was taking off various other fees to get it down to that! Total bull***t if you ask me.
Poor business practices and horrendous customer service. Misleading advertisement as well.
