Great place to camp,staff are very helpful and nice.

Very relaxing! For all those who say its not a great place are obviously pampered and don't know his to enjoy the great outdoors! This place is very nice and the owners are super cool! As with any family campground there are rules but they are not that strict! So if you wanna have a great time and camp like you got a pair head on up and enjoy!

I enjoyed camping there. The trains didn't bother me that was part of the outdoor enjoyment. The water does have a sulfer smell; but that comes with the territory of trains being around. The owners went out of their way to make sure my party and the campers around me had anything that was needed. They brought us firewood. Great place to camp!!!!! Look forward to doing it again!



Also is a great place to fish; there is a turn in the river just up from the campground that is over 100 feet deep.

Take your ear plugs there are two tracks one on each side of the campground and the trains run all night long. Quiet time after 11 pm except for the trains no one told them.

It is family run and they are working on cleaning the place up. The overnight camp sites are right on the river and there's a ramp to put in a boat. If you are looking for planned events or anything to do other then relax or fish you are at the wrong place.
