I went diamond mining near Mount Ida with a couple of friends last summer and had a less than desirable experience at a nearby resort. However we decided to try mining for gems this year and decided to try Ouchita River Haven Resort. It was incredible. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The resort was comfortable, clean, and very relaxing. Even the dog was wekconed with open arms. Our expectations were exceeded with people going out if their way to see that our needs were met. We were treared like family, and I'm still in awe. Can't wait to go back. Whether a family getaway, honeymoon, or get together with friends, this place is the best.

To begin, we are parents of two small rascals, and needed a much deserved vacation. This place was so easy to find, yet hidden.... The staff almost already knew our stresses, and had the most beautiful cabin awaiting us. My husband is not very outdoorsy, and when the rain started pouring, it made our vacation even better! When we arrived we had a creekside cabin, the morning we left, we had a riverside cabin. Even though we didnt do all the things I had wanted to do, the rain made our stay even better. It was so luxurious and care free. We cant wait to come back. If you are planning a trip to Arkansas for all its natural beauties, you must stay at the Oauchita River Haven Resort! It's a small ride to Hot springs, but so worth it. These memories make everything worth it. Thank you so much for your generosity.
