Dave Wilson is a crook. The 4.3 in my Galaxy boat froze and cracked the block. I hired Dave to replace the engine with a newly rebuilt 4.3 with new starter, manifolds, fuel pump, gimbal bearing, etc and find out why it wasn't shifting smoothly. I was having the upholstery redone by another contractor so Dave said he would order the engine and have everything ready to go when he got the boat. He said it would take about 2 weeks once he got my boat; it actually took him 3 months. He claimed that he took it to the lake and it ran great. The first time I took it to the lake it made such a racket that we couldn't use it. It took two trips back to Dave to get the Gimbal Bearing right. I'm convinced he used used parts. Meanwhile he left parts laying on the brand new upholstery and which left rust stains on it. We got to use the boat twice that summer. The "new" starter failed the next summer and I learned that it's been years since they made that starter. He is a liar and a crook.

Dave Wilson said they would service/perform maintenance on our Yamaha boat motor and have it ready in a couple of days. But what actually happened is our boat sat in his yard for 10 days we spoke every other day and he told me what they were doing; replaced spark plugs, ran the boat on the lake with no problems, etc. ALL of it were lies. They never could have turned the boat over because they never replaced the spark plugs or anything else on the boat. He is a liar and a cheat and I told him so.

We were pleased with the prompt response, thorough maintenance and convenient service. In addition, they went above and beyond by returning to charge our boat's battery on Memorial Day (when it was my oversight). Obviously, our experience was very positive.

Great Experience

Another boat repair shop quoted $10,000 to get the engine on my Malibu boat repaired. I took it to M & W Marine and they found out it was only a valve problem. Dave and the boys fixed in two days for $900 and it runs great. It's great to find honest people in this business.
