The Bureau of Forestry is a part of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, which is responsible for maintaining and preserving more than 100 parks and over 20 state forests. Also known as DCNR, the parent company provides information on the state's ecological and geologic resources. Established in 1995, it also establishes community conservation partnerships with grants.
