Home care is organized into three different subcategories: - Personal Care - Companionship Care - Supplemental Home Support When a CAREPARTNER is assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and restroom assistance, they are providing Personal Care. Companionship Care is concentrated social support with a critical focus on active listening. Supplemental Home Support includes cleaning, organizing, and general support pertaining to household chores that your loved one can no longer safely complete independently. After an in-home needs assessment is completed, services from each category are combined to create a personalized CAREPLAN.
