Founded in 1895, Penn Yann Public Library fulfills customers' information needs by offering books, programs and services. Based in Penn Yann, N.Y., the library primarily serves the residents of the Penn Yan Central School District. It also provides an array of special collections and services. Penn Yann Public Library is also the state-appointed public access law library for Yates County. In addition, the library's youth services department offers a variety of materials ranging from board books for babies to graphic novels.
