The E911/Dispatch Center works to meet the emergency response needs of individuals of all ages. It offers advanced life support and medical helicopter response coordination services. The E911/Dispatch Center offers assistance with fire and medical emergencies for various law enforcement agencies, such as the Yates County Sheriff s Office, Penn Yan Police Department, New York State Police Dundee, New York State Department of Environmental Police and New York State Park Police. It operates various dispatch positions that are equipped with radio, computer, telephone and encoding systems. The center additionally has weather condition detectors, security equipment and geographic information system mapping terminals.
