I had a very negative experience with Computer Masters. The hard drive on my daughter's computer crashed, so I took it to this shop to see what could be done. They could not recover the data, which I understand and is not the issue. After two days when the computer was not yet working, I decided to pick up the computer. Instead, I received a call from the technician working on the computer, and he proceeded to harass and manipulate me to the point that I was in tears at the end of the call and agreeing to let him "fix" the computer with a used hard drive that he assured me was LESS than one year old. He "had no problem at all" with selling me a used hard drive. So I trusted him. Two days later I paid $188 and picked up the computer. That night, we spent 6 hours trying to install programs such as Microsoft Office and several others. We received errors with every attempt and finally gave up. I noticed that out of a supposed 500 GB hard drive, only 199 GB was available. The next day, I called some other computer shops and talked to 4 other computer techs who were all surprised that I was sold a used hard drive, and each one believed that it was causing the installation issues. So, we bought a brand new hard drive at Best Buy for $50, my husband installed it in less than 30 minutes and 2 1/2 hours later, the computer was running beautifully with all drivers and programs installed and a whopping 440 GB still available. And now for the part that really makes me angry - the hard drive my husband removed - the one that Computer Masters put in and told me was LESS than a year old - it was FIVE YEARS OLD!! The tech at this company lied to me on more than one occasion and had no problem charging me a lot of money for it. I learned a very expensive lesson and I hope this review will save someone else from wasting money with this company.

I've been calling computer places for 2 days, trying to get somebody to get up and look in the back for a spare floppy disk they have lying around. (Because I needed one for a BIOS update). No place would even check for me. But when I called computer master, she checked for me. Found a floppy disk in the back. Then, offered it to me for free. :)
