Provided by YP.comOur son had a really bad experience in area schools, probably complicated by our mid-year move. His teachers at EHCS were welcoming, and they helped with his shyness and learning disability. I'm not sure who wrote the first negative review, but when a friend told me someone had said such awful things, I felt like I had to weigh in and give a different view. I'm glad I'm not the only one, because these people do genuinely care about the individual. They aren't perfect, but they do work to do their best.

Provided by YP.comWe've had a great year at EHCS. The school has made some great improvements in the past few years. They communicate well with parents through email, and I check grades every night through the web site. We've been impressed with Dr. Wood's leadership, and with how much our children have learned. A great experience overall.

Provided by YP.comOur experience at this school was such a disappointment. While the school likes to advertise they encourage "strong parental support" the real truth is they only want your money. They don't care about your input as their "tag line" would suggest. They want you to drop your child at the door and your check in the mail. They have no interest in your concerns, questions or comments. If you are brave and dare to question anything, you will immediately be labelled a "trouble maker". Your child will then become their target and the focus will be placed on anything and everything "wrong" with your child. In recent years the school's ever growing financial issues have caused substantial tuition increases yet what they are offering for your money is substandard. During the time we were there-they actually had the nerve to ask each family to give $1400 to help keep the school open. They cannot afford a real principal, nor headmaster. Rather both positions are "filled" by people who are full time teachers at the school. How can a full time teacher give any attention to your problems or concerns? How can full time teacher actually be hands-on in running the school? They can't. Don't be fooled by the fact that they are accredited by ASCI either. This agency has no say in what the school does. They just collect their fees from the school and the school gets to say they are "accredited". It is simply a piece of paper bought and paid for by the school.
My advice would be to keep looking...there are better schools out there. Schools that really care about your child's education and well being.
