Dr. Cherra Pumphrey is a board-certified internal medicine physician with Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart, providing primary care for adults in the Perdido area. She has special interests in preventive medicine, gastroenterology, and pulmonology. Dr. Pumphrey believes that God placed within her the goal and dream to become a physician at an early age and considers herself blessed to practice medicine. She desires to work with her patients towards achieving/maintaining improved physical, mental, and emotional health. Outside of the office, Dr. Pumphrey enjoys engaging in a variety of outdoor activities (particularly sailing, canoeing, fly-fishing, and hiking) and serving at Destiny Worship Center in the Outreach Ministry and the Worship Choir.
