made sure that due to my dental anxiety that Dr. Sonnen offered nitrious during fillings/crown. I discussed with her as well as her assistant during the initial exam. I discussed it with the assistant that completed my cleaning and then again with the assistant that would help her at the chair. The assistant told me that the doctor had to actually start the gas. Then Dr. Sonnen shows up with a needle in hand and informed me due to time constraints that she couldn't do the gas. That other dentists just didn't give me enough to numb my teeth completely. She then gave me a few injections for two teeth and then waited 10 minutes. Since my teeth still weren't numb she gave me a few more injections. So now because she had to prove a point my gums are torn up and the pain is pretty severe and I even sat through the pain during the last filling as the tooth wasn't numb completely just to get it over with and get the hell out of there. I am now stuck with her because of my insurance/financial situation. Terrible choice!
