I cannot say enough good about this salon! Pam and Carlos do a great job making their clients feel special and the staff is great! Pam is the best stylist I have ever been to. She took so much time with me and I have never had a better cut or color in my life! She worked a miracle on my curly hair! When I look in the mirror it is so nice to see soft pretty hair, beautiful color and shine and it is not frizzy!!!!

Terrible customer service! I wish I could give this salon zero stars. My husband bought a "passport" gift certificate to this salon as a birthday gift for me. It included a number of services and cost 65$. The passport only lasted for 4 months, and when I went to use it, I found I needed to make separate appointments for each service! I told them I didn't want the certificate and would like to redeem some or all it for products so at least I wouldn't lose the money and they said no, your husband should have "known better when he bought it." Carlos, the owner, said this was supposed to be a way to gain customers, but there's NO WAY they'll be gaining my business!

I have VERY curly hair and when I moved to Pensacola a few months ago I was dreading the long and horrible process of finding someone who can handle my unruly hair. I had heard of the Ouidad process for cutting curly hair and so I looked up salons that were certified to do this in the area and Self Salon popped up so I made an appointment.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated like a queen--the staff was fun and friendly and made me feel very welcome. They did a deep conditioning treatment and then Pam did the Ouidad cut. She took her time and worked very carefully even though my hair is super thick. My hair has never felt this luxurious. It is managable and the curls are soft, yet defined. Believe me when I say that Pam worked a MIRACLE with my coarse, curly hair. I will proudly recommend this salon to friends and strangers alike!
