There are far too many true Holy Priests like the pastor Father Perez is at this Church. We were Blessed to know him and be a Parishioner at ST.Stephens for many years. He is really a Man of God.

I have been a parishioner of this wonderful parish for a great majority of my life. It is by far THE most conservative parish in Pensacola. The priest Fr. Hector gives out standing sermons that need to be preached and not like most parishes that preach like they got it out of a little kids story book. He can relate to others lives and help us with our day to day struggles. I have been serving Mass for him for 11 years. Both OF Mass and EF Mass. He does them very reverently and is a very good example to fellow priests on how to preach and worship in the Liturgy. He is not afraid to tell it like it is to people which is what we really need in this day and age in which we live in. He wears the traditional Cassock and Roman Collar. The servers ( in which I am apart of) consist of strictly Males in Cassock and surplice. Mass is said ONLY facing Ad Orientem ( towards Christ in the tabernacle). It is extremely rare and almost unheard of to see Fr. Hector face the people for Mass which is splendid because that is how our prayers are to be directed. He is truly inspirational in his preaching as well as the example he gives to others. The parish community is very warm welcoming! There are several children, families and a diversity of culture! He knows several languages including Italian, French, English, Spanish, German, Lithuanian, Greek, Latin and others. If someone was looking for a parish that does it the way all parishes should do it and follows the tradition as implemented strongly by Benedict XVI I would highly recommend this parish. Fr. Perez and St. Stephens have encouraged and helped me on my path to hopefully one day becoming a priest. God Bless Fr. Hector Perez and St. Stephens. Ad Multos Annos!!
