DON'T GO HERE!!!! This place did a terrible job on my nails. I had been growing my nails out for a year. Trying to prove to myself that I could go without acrylic, since I had been wearing it since about 1995 on and off. So I decided to try Tip N Toe since I had a pedicure there before. Plus I was in the mall and it was convenient. Well BIIIIIIG MISTAKE!!!!! I went in on Sunday, 6/3 and got acrylics put on. I went on vacation from the 6th-17th. On Saturday, 6/23 I decided when I was in the mall I would simple get them taken off since I did not like what they had done, but dealt with it until they were grown out enough to be an easy soak-off.



I went in and was seen by an older lady with glasses that seemed to have no idea what the heck she was doing. I should've known when she needed help to change the drill files/pieces. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Another BIIIIIG MISTAKE. She soaked and grinded my nails for over an hour to the point that she filed to the meat of my fingers to where they were burning and bleeding. Needless to say, I left before her job was complete. For many reasons. Many because my fingers were sore, bleeding and I was PISSED! She charged me $17 ($8 less than a soak and manicure) when she should've let me go for free. When I got home I took multiple pictures and documented this incident.



After stewing overnight on this matter, I went back on Sunday, 6/24 to speak to the manager to get back my money AND get free manicures for the next few months. The gentleman that I spoke with was VERY rude and blamed me for the incident. Telling me he had been doing nails for years and I got a fill somewhere else to as why my nails were so thin. They don't have people that work there that do that kind of work. I did not take that for an answer and demanded he do something. He simply got my name and number for the "owner" to call me regarding this matter.



Long story short...the owner (Kathy) gave me my money back. This STILL is not good enough for me. It is now Tuesday, 7/10 and my nails are still extremely sore, cracked and very thin. I have taken pictures the past couple of weeks, posted reviews, I am in the process of contacting the BBB and will be going back to Tip N Toe to show Kathy my photos. Though she gave me my money back she did not see the damage to my nails important to her.



So I will be sure that Tip N Toe knows that with the economy the way that it is and as many nail shops that there are to compete against, they should be treating customer with a little more respect. Maybe when I am said and done, they will be held accountable to some extent and know that my nails are VERY important to ME; as they are to every customer.
