Excellent staff, on time, scheduled quickly, professional, cleaned up well..........................

The bid provided was not clear to me. I did not understand 15 feet was from the ground but thought it was from where branches started. Then a switch, trim lower branches and clear light, cut one tree, light still blocked. Trimming on roadway was messy and left extra debris. I was taken in by coupons in mail, do not use, too high for what they do. I spent $3,000 with $300 discount. I should have gotten two bids.

My 70 foot hickory near my house was splitting and was a potential danger to my home. The estimator( Wayne) was knowledgeable and thorough. He gave me the information I needed to weight the options (cabling or removing). I determined that it had to be removed. The crew ( Ben, Aaron, George) did an excellent job cutting so that the limbs didn't hit the new guttering, roof, my new awning and irrigation.

They also trimmed my magnolias and 100 year old oak in the front. None of these were easy tasks. They were cheerful, professional and cleaned up carefully before they left.

The office staff was well informed (the work order changed twice) and easy to deal with.

I have had to deal with alot of contractors but Tri-State is by far the most Professional Company I could recommend. From calling to get the estimate to have an 80 yr old Oak removed from very hard location they had an estimator at my home within hours Robert (estimator) he was very customer friendly and had a crew set for the next day. The crew arrived early was very careful not to cause any damage and super friendly Darrell the crew Boss was great with his crew Joey and Dave I would gladly recommend them to anyone! They left my yard clean of debris and graded any disturbed soil all I can say about this Company and Crew is AWESOME & Thank you Very Very Much

Charged twice the quote, service was not done as agreed and 5 days longer than agreed on. Be careful using this company! In reviewing the comments it seems there are some others with some major issues too.

I always use this company every year. Everyone I know used this company and Ive never had any complaints.( excluding the lady that commented below) but there's always going to be a rotten apple everywhere some people are just never happy!

I was told it would take a day to cut down trees and that they would not be dropped but rather lowered to the ground, Well they dropped then on my drain field, sprinkler system, and driveway and sidewalk. What a mess! Left large ruts in my yard, broken sidewalk and took three weeks to complete job. I had to keep calling for the stump grinding and I still have large roots in my yard. And I can see why they let the father son team go!

Why would you get rid of the father/son team? He was the my favorite I always requested them now its just the dad BRING BACK MY TEAM! Im wanting my trees done in June i hope there back together by then! When my boys are back together ill give you 5 stars~~LOL

Tri-Strate tree is the best tree service i ever had at my house every year i have the trees around my house prepared of hurricane season and Tri-State was the best i would recomend them to all of my friends and family.

They came to my house around 9:00 and were done by 11:00.I did not have to do anything they took care of everything.They were so friendly and considerate.From now on Tri-State will be the only place i call for any and all of my hurricane preperation needs.Im going to have them come out next month do put some water sprinklers in.
